Katie Couric asks Tina Palin the tough questions

She’s back!!  Tina Fey returns as Sarah Palin on SNL.  This time she’s face to face with the ever-blinking Katie Couric.  Not quite as funny as the first one in my opinion, but there’s still some sweet moments.  Tina Fey really is wonderful.  I hope she’ll be making regular appearances on SNL this season.  Can you imagine what would happen if John McCain and Sarah Palin get in.  Four more years of Tina Palin!  Four more years of strong ratings for SNL.  Is it just me or can you feel the cast members swaying further and further right…

Highlights

3:49 - “Well…  Alaska and Russia are only seperated by a narrow maritime border…”

Hmmmm…  This joke sounds familiar…

2:50 - “Like every American I am speaking with, we are ill about this.  We’re sayin’ Hey! Why bail out Fanny and Freddy and not me.  But ultimately what the bailout does is help those that are concerned about the healthcare reform that is needed to help shore up our economy…  to help… um…  It’s gotta be all about job creation too.  Also to shoring up our economy and putting Fanny and Freddy back on the right track.  And so healthcare reform and reducing taxes and reigning in spending ’cause Barack Obama…hmm you know.  You know we’ve got to accompany tax reduction and tax relief for Americans also…  having a dollar value meal at restaurants.  That’s gonna help.  But 1 in 5 jobs being created today under the umbrella of job creation.  That, you know…  also.

Pulling this off live is very impressive.  If you don’t believe, try it yourself!  Pick a topic and do your best to ramble on like this.  Tina Fey rules!

1:59 - “But 1 in 5 jobs being created today under the umbrella of job creation…”

This line deserves it’s own highlight.  A nugget of gold found in a river of verbal diarrhea…

Lol did you notice that after saying that alaska and russia were separated by a narrow maritime boarder, she followed that with her hand as Alaska, the water south of it, then russia north of it? :D
