The REAL Sarah Palin on SNL!
The fact that the whole world knew this was coming didn’t matter. The latest video in this insanely popular SNL series delivered the goods! Not only did we get the REAL Sarah Palin… We also got the REAL Mark Wahlberg. I’m kind of disappointed that Mark didn’t ask someone to “Say hi to your Mother for me” but oh well… At least he didn’t make us look at his tighty whities.
Palin (real) was actually pretty good! She gets it. It’s comedy. Reading some of the comments below the Tina Fey/Sarah Palin videos on NBC’s website is painful:
“SNL should stop pushing it’s own political agenda.”.
“I don’t think NBC has the right to make light of the upcoming election.”.
IT’S A COMEDY SKETCH SHOW PEOPLE!!
You’d think that folks with such strong opinions could find a better site to voice their politics. Besides, I think you’re giving the cast of SNL way too much credit here… Political agendas? We’re talking about a program whose alumni include Adam Sandler and Chris Farley. I mean… I love these guys but come on!!
This clip was fantastic but not quite perfect. I would have liked to have seen Tina and Sarah face to face… maybe talking… maybe fighting… maybe kissing… Oh well…
Highlights:

role role?!?! What the hell does she say here!?!? It’s drivin’ me nuts!

I love the look on the real Sarah’s face as she watches Tina “pageant” walk back and forth all fancy-like….
2:02 - Mark Whalberg walks away, revealing an animal!
I can’t quite tell what kind of animal that is in the hallway. Maybe an Emu? Mark Whalberg should’ve talked to it.
0:27 - “What… The real one! Byeee”
I still think they should’ve made out or something… Maybe next time.
She’s actually just saying “real” over again, not “role.”

Tina Fey is so amazingnot to mention beautiful. I’ve always loved her skits
She’s a hottie alright Justin… I remember when I first saw her on “Weekend Update” a few years back. Holy crap! What ever happened to her co-anchor though? What was his name anyway? I’m thinking Johnny Falcon… Anyone?
…I believe it was Jimmy Fallon, but I haven’t seen him yet.
Unfortunetely we can’t watch SNL in Germany but the last thing I saw with Jimmy on the Interneht was the “Debbie Downer” Sketch with Lindsay Lohan (everybody cracked up, hilarious!).
May I say something: The first time when Sarah Palin got nominated and it appeared in the German Newspaper, it hit me: This must be the Sister of Tina Fey! The next thought I had was: Oh man, this thought is quite insulting, sorry Tina…
